Intensive Outpatient Services

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a short-term treatment program for people who require a higher level of care than once a week appointment. Candidates who relapsed or are recently discharged from the hospital will need a transitional period of treatment before reintegrating into society. The IOP prevents the recidivism rate of hospitailization and effectively restores individuals to social functions.

Intensive Outpatient Services (IOP)

IOP focuses on substance abuse and comorbidity education and treatment. Our comprehensive treatment model is built on the neurophysiological model of addiction as a brain disease. Our multidisciplinary team focuses on cognitive-behavioral therapy, mind and body holistic therapy, psychodrama, expressive art, trauma resolution, as well as 12 – Step program support.

Since addiction is rarely an individual’s affliction, but a whole family’s malady, the family plays a big role in helping the clients reintegrating into society with sobriety skills and a relapse prevention plan. We strongly embrace family and interfamily groups as part of the healing community.

The clients will meet with their psychiatrist, nurse, and therapist for weekly sessions. Treatment is designed based on individualized goals with a tailored aftercare plan to meet the individual’s lifestyle.

IOP operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM-1 PM with a minimum attendance requirement of 3 days out of 5 days a week curriculum. We provide snacks and refreshment daily. The program usually runs 4-6 weeks based on medical necessity and individualized goals.

We have programs for adolescents ages 11 to 19, and adults ages 20 and up.
