Dr. Hanh Vo

Dr. Hanh Vo–Clinical Psychologist–founder of Vo Counseling & Testing and Infinite Beings Treatment Center, is a thought leader, author, speaker, and gifted therapist in the field of human behavior and relationships. With her unique Eastern and Western integrative approach incorporating with neuroscience and quantum spirituality, she has served countless individuals, couples, and families in achieving their highest potential, seeking their life purpose, and working towards inner peace.

Dr. Vo has an accomplished career as Clinical Director and COO for many hospital programs, including Riverside General Hospital, Inner Wisdom PHP, New Dimension Substance Abuse IOP Program, Cambridge Psychiatric Adolescent Unit, and King Haven Counseling Group. She is currently committed to counseling clients on their personal, spiritual, and professional journeys through her own private practice.

Dr. Vo obtained her B.A. in Psychology and M.Ed. in Counseling from the University of Houston. She is a licensed psychologist and a licensed professional counselor. She acquired her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Walden University and completed her residency in Neuropsychology at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas, in 2004. Her dissertation on Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) won the prestigious national Martin Gerstein Award.
Dr. Vo is passionate about serving her community. She has served as a TV talk show host for many mental health programs on the Vietnamese American Network (VAN), VietFace TV, and Saigon Houston radio station. She has her own YouTube channel dedicated to providing psychoeducation to her audience in both Vietnamese and English.

In her spare time, she leads and trains a team of dancers called Hoai Huong (Motherland Dance Group) for sociocultural functions and charity events.
Dr. Vo loves nature, hiking, yoga, meditation, reading, and dancing. She has run several half-marathons in the country. She is happily married to her husband for the past 37 years, with whom she has 3 wonderful children. Their children graduated from UT, Austin with their son who is a software engineer, middle daughter an orthopedic surgeon, and youngest daughter a nutritionist and environmentalist.

Yolanda is a high-caliber substance abuse counselor with a longstanding career with the City of Houston, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, and many detox and substance abuse programs and hospitals in Houston. She has worked in multidimensional capacities, serving many comprehensive roles as a Senior Parole Officer, District Unit Supervisor, Instructor for the Certified Criminal Justice Specialist Program, and Program Coordinator for many treatment programs.
Emphatically kind, strong, and unwavering,Yolanda provides a solid foundation for clients’ growth and healing on their sober journeys. She serves as an expert on the psychobiological footprints of addiction. Yolanda understands the need to develop a customized treatment plan to meet the clients where they are in their uphill battles of healing traumas and addictions.
